It is the first Fox I purchased about 35 years ago. It is a Sterlingworth made in 1929, has two sets of barrels matching numbers. First set are 28” marked Philadelphia with beaver tail forend, second set are 25” marked Utica for 2 3/4. Gun must have been sent back to Fox for that second set. I have no idea who or when restocked the gun and forends? I purchased the gun at the Syracuse Gun Show.
