Those are some beautiful Wood Ducks, Craig. In your area, what is the difference between a "swamp" and a marsh? Were you jump shooting, pass shooting or decoy shooting?

A marsh typically has emergent vegetation dominated by cattails. A swamp supports trees and other woody vegetation like red maple and alders.

Looks like a great opening day! That does look like some work to hunt that stuff! I can only imagine great for the ducks though!
