I have this B Grade Fox 12ga. I have a few questions. Pics attached.
1. Did all B Grades have checkered side panels on the buttstock?
2. I am doubtfull this beavertail forend with recessed latch would be from factory?
Year made?
Thank you,
Dale

The catalog pictures of all four styles of B-Grades show checkered stock cheeks. The B-Grade was discontinued well before beavertail forearms appear in the records. Sometime back Tom Wyraz posted this picture of factory beavertails --
and the levers are always flush.
AHFCA members can get a jpeg of one graded gun production card with their membership and can get additional for $25 via paypal. The old Lightner Library serial number chronology puts your gun in 1917.
