Lots of "sorcerer's apprentices" on there too. Fellas who hang out here soaking up info but almost never contribute, and then try to act like experts there. Also there must be something about that group synergy, those fellas seem to score way more Foxes with "desirable 4-weight barrels" than we ever see here.

I'm from the old school and I agree with Frank. The 21st century FB can lead to a lot of trouble! I am not a computer wiz and some of the hacking going on with the computer's scares me. Brian

I'm probably as cyber capable as most, am keeping up with the technology, and have no issue with other groups and sites for Fox enthusiasts or for anything else. However in the case of Fox it seems to me that the other group is an understudy at best, and while I suppose it meets a need for those looking for daily joie de vivre via FB it's not for me and many others I know. This and my previous reply are JMO of course. frank

Agree with Frank; social media "spall", SPAM, pseudo virus hackers and outright cyber banditry have cost me 2 computers over the last 7 years. FB and its ilk not for me! Kevin

I really enjoy the Facebook groups including the Fox Collectors, Parker Collectors, Illinois River Decoy Collectors, Vintage Shotgun Shell Box Collectors, Remington Model 11 Collectors and a few others. I just like interacting with like minded people with different backgrounds from around the country. Jason has done a nice job monitoring the Fox site, thanks for your efforts. Since you must be invited to join these Facebook groups it keeps the trash talkers and nuts locked out. I'm 71 but try my best not to be old school, I believe some corners of so called social media are interesting and safe. Just my experience and opinion. Craig Larter

I really enjoy the facebook Fox collectors page as well. It really exposes a lot of new people to the enjoyment of Fox Guns. The site is a lot more friendly than The Fox Collectors site. Newcomers are not embarrassed for asking naive questions. The Collectors site has remarkable knowledge of everything Fox but some "Old School' types are cantankerous and can be off putting to Newbie collectors. Jason did a great service in advancing the interest in Fox Guns.
