JJ,

Do you have any of the special cartridges and wooden balls? Makes a good shooter.

Bill,
Are the cases fiited with a primer to shoot the balls in?
Owning a Fox is not a spectator sport.

Bill, I only have the toy gun no cartidge's, wooden ball's or box but I will be on the look out. J.J.

No.

Note the trigger guard on JJ's gun. It is intentionally shaped that way so that the end of the cartridges can be pushed in and cocked. Then the 1/2" diameter wood ball can be pressed into position at the end of the cartridge and made ready to shoot.

When that "loaded" cartridge is inserted in the chamber, pulling the trigger extends the firing pin into where the primer would be but it would trip the "sear" in the cartridge and the compressed spring would kick the plunger in the cartridge to strike the wood ball and it would shoot out the end of the barrel.

I hope I've explained that to be understood, ie, the whole firing mechanism is in the cartridge.

They are fun to shoot. Not very accurate tho.
