Extractor barrels on ejector gun

Post by james-l »

I have a set of A grade extractor barrels I would like to use on a BE ejector gun, would it damage the ejector trips on the ejector gun?

It can be done. But... you will need to remove the ejector parts from the forend. You should be just fine to leave the trips in the frame.

OR... you can use an extractor forend with your extractor barrels, in which case the trips will have to be removed from the frame.

OR....... you can modify that extractor forend to clear the trips. In which case you will be able to use the gun as both an ejector and extractor guns depending on which barrels/forend you have installed.
