Fox display table

Post by DarylC »

I'd like to give a huge thanks to Kevin McCormack for his usual fine Fox display at Ernie's this past weekend. He is a great ambassador for the AHFCA and certainly has an eye for those long legged smallbores. Thanks Kevin.

Also I'd like to congratulate Mike for his win in the main event and Frank's win in the Letterman cup.
Owning a Fox is not a spectator sport.

As always, thanks for the kind words, Daryl. And I want to give special thanks for helping out at the booth to Bill Jolliff, Paul Plunkett, Tom Tutwiler, and "nexdoor neighbor" Tom Wyraz for watching over things while I took periodic breaks. (I actually got to shoot some 5-stand this time!!).

Jim, I took a few pics of the booth & activities there and will post as soon as I can get them resized and uploaded. Kevin

I would like to also thank Kevin for the display. It was very professional, and it captured the attention of everyone walking by. The guns were absolutely mind-boggling. I don't know how you guys can get your hands on gems like those. :)

OK, here are a few shots from Hausmann's The large empty space in the middle table has been reserved for display of the absolutely stunning FE 12 ga. which was the subject of Steve Cambria's very interesting article in the most recent issue of Double Gun Journal. Spending time examining it made that opportunity alone worthy of the drive up. Kevin

Thanks, Kevin. If that's you in the 1st picture, you are looking real sharp. Jim

Stunning indeed Kevin.

I too had the pleasure of handling that wonderful FE12 with serial number 16109. If you read Steve's article in the DGJ, you'll know what I mean.

Thanks to the O'Neill family and Phil Woody for getting it to Ernie's and letting those that had the opportunity, handle the gun.

My pleasure Kevin. Always good neighbors at Ernie's shoot. It was another great year indeed for laughs & info swap. Heck, I (Fox River Sporting) even did some good commerce Fri & Sat.
Looking forward to next year.
