Re: Fox fishing reels
I think I paid $30 for mine; looks like they typically sell for under $20 on ebay. That seller's pretty optimistic (or delusional)
. I would like to find one of the fly reels though.

Re: Fox fishing reels
FWIW, here are the other five pages of the catalog --
In The Double Gun Journal, Volume Four, Issue 4, Tom Kidd did an article on a gun Burt Becker built for John Lauterbach, the A.H. Fox Gun Co.'s chief engineer. He states "John Lauterbach was a very astute mechanical engineer, who held a number of patents addressing the design and working features of the fishing reels marketed by the A.H. Fox Gun Company."
The only John Lauterbach patent I've been able to find was filed Oct. 6, 1921, and was granted as Patent No. 1,523,983 on Jan. 20, 1925, and assigned to Ocean City Manufacturing Co.

Re: Fox fishing reels
I meant one of the fly reels. Agree that the price of the 250 yard reel is way to much.
