Someone just scored on ebay a 1940 Retail Catalog with a July 1, 1940, Retail Prices sheet. I've not seen that Retail Prices sheet before and isn't listed in Appendix I "The Paper Trail" of McIntosh's book.
Also, a fairly late Savage-era Fox-Sterlingworth hang-tag must have had at least two bidders that wanted it.

Re: 1940 Retail Catalog
David, would you like to have a good clear copy of the January price list (not that one), or simply borrow one so you can copy
it to suit yourself ?
I was one of the two bids on the hang tag-not for any legitimate reason !

Re: 1940 Retail Catalog
Thanks, but I have orange catalogs with the January 2, 1940, and the January 2, 1941, Retail Price sheets. I saved out the picture from ebay of the July 1, 1940, Retail Price sheet. Makes another Price Sheet with the Sterlingworth Wildfowl.
Also, the red catalog with the June 16, 1941, Retail Price sheet. For some reason, finding those red catalogs in in nice condition is tough.

Re: 1940 Retail Catalog
I "scored" the 1940 catalog and with a late bid. Didn't think I would win it to be honest.
