Well, that's pretty interesting. I saved the picture in a file, and then enlarged it enough so that my old eyes could read it. I'll bet the hunters were better marksmen than I am. Jeff

They show up fairly regularly on ebay and in Wards Auctions.

During the 1930s Western Cartridge Co. put out a lot of paper. I have nine variations of the SUPER-X The Long Range Load booklet from 4-30 to 10-35 --
SUPER-X The Long Range Load, 4-30 and 2-33

and there may be more. I also have three of them from the 1920s. A new ammo catalog or price list every few months, numerous folders on Super-X, Lubaloy, Xpert and Seal-Tite wads. In 1933 they put out this booklet titled HOW TO HIT 'EM --

and in 1934 the Days With Super-X. Then in 1937 they began publishing the Western Ammunition Handbook --

which continued at least well into the 1950s.

I have this one. It's green, as you can see, and is the 6th edition. What year would it be?

I believe it is circa 1940. It is the first edition to show the Xpert skeet & Trap loads with the "Super-Seal Crimp" and it discusses 1939 winners of trap and skeet events.
