Mallards with the 16

Post by Woody »

Went grouse hunting today. Only 1 flush out of sight. Getting back to the truck my dad calls me and said I need to come shoot the mallards he can here near our camp!!! I only had my 16 ga Sterlingworth with me but i had the foresight to put a box of RST Bismuth in the truck so I was all set.

Well, Woody, tell us how you shot 3 ducks with a double barrel!
Jim
PS - is one of those ducks a Blackduck?

Some fast shell shucking!!! A double and a single. If I had ejectors I would of had my limit. Lol. Yes it’s a black.

Jim I had your vest and chaps on yesterday grouse hunting. I love the vest.

Awesome! When opportunity knocks, be ready.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.

That is some flat good chewing there. Duck Kabob's are pretty sweet.

I am glad you like the vest, Woody. I bought it for a late season pheasant hunt in SD that never materalized. It's good for colder weather. Jim
