SXS Event at Hausmann's

Post by Kimber06 »

For the Fox folks going to the SXS event at Hausmann's in June, is there a particular hotel that you stay at? I see the Parker guys reserved a block of rooms at one of the local hotels and was wondering if the Fox guys did anything similar.

There are usually not enough Fox guys attending the shoots to warrant getting rooms set aside for AHFCA. Pretty much on your own booking a room in Vestal, NY.

I'm sure there will be a couple guys staying at the Best Western in Johnson City, me included.

Reasonably convenient to HHH.

The Quality Inn in Vestal is a popular gathering spot for the Hausmann's shoot. Request the group rate ($99.95) under The PGCA or Parker Gun Collectors, but you must book directly through the front desk at 607-729-6371.
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

I'm thinking about heading out to Hausmann's. Toolman, will you be bringing any of your wife's cookies this year?

I am sure he will. The question is how many cookies will survive the trip from CT???

Have a good time guys. Just got down home from Kodiak last night. First thing I did was jump on the computer, but there were just no great last minute deals from Spokane to Binghamton!! $1400 to $1700 in coach! That plus a rental car and I certainly wouldn't be bringing any guns with two plane changes, so I'll think about you while I'm shooting skeet at Spokane or Coeur d'Alene.
