Union Hardware must have been a big distributor on the West Coast. My AE grade #18543 lettered as having been shipped there in June 1911. I was only able to find one old picture of the place on the web.

Tell us more about the details of the gun, frame rebates locking screws, checkering pattern and how it came into your hands.

Hello Birdawg, it's a 12 gauge, 30" F&F (Krupp), 14-1/8 length, 2-3/4 drop, a very early XE (thanks Fox-Admin), early features, engraving pattern conceived by William Gough around 1913, sold for $100 in 1914. Original except for Miller trigger that must have been added later, not featured in Fox's 1914 catalog. Condition 70%+. My father bought it in late 30's, original purchaser unknown. It was my first duck gun in the 60's as dad preferred his Browning Auto 5. Cheers, Don
