You don't need photobucket for our site any longer. Use the "Upload attachment" tab below and load pictures directly from your computer. PGCA web site has a similar feature. Kiss PB goodbye!!, if pb will cooperate this morning. Guess I ought to go ahead and go "ad free" for $15/yr.

Re: AE 16 ga. - 30"
For those that don't know it Dennis (i.e. Stock Doctor) teaches a one week course on how to repair damaged gun stocks. I know someone who is taking it next month.Stan Hillis wrote:Have corresponded with Dennis and he has agreed to repair that forend. Next pics of it will be of "before and after".
Thanks again for the reminder about The Stock Doctor, Tom.

Re: AE 16 ga. - 30"
It has been graciously pointed out to me that some, or all, of the metal finishes on the gun are not original. I accept that I may be in error about this, and value the opportunity to learn. If they indeed are not original, and I now believe that some are not, I will only have less concern when I take it to the field next fall for doves and quail. If it were indeed all original metal finishes I would be reticent to use it as readily as I now intend to.
My sincere thanks to our member who pointed this out to me.
