Foxes at Julia's Today

Post by SmithShady »

Anybody else watch the Julia's Auction today, or better yet go? The two DE's went for 11k and 7k, and that sweet 16ga Vent Rib gun went for 8k. The juice was steep for internet bidders at 21%, more likely 15% in person. I would love to own that A Grade. I hope some people here were the lucky winners. It also looks like that Parker A1 Special 20ga went for around 220k!

It's (ahem) only 18% for Internet bidders paying by check.

That little vent ribbed 16-gauge looked like a sweetie. A higher frame and rib then we seem to usually see on the few other vent ribbed Fox doubles to surface.

That AE Vent gun is a very nice example & it went for a very reasonable price for a righteous vent gun, especially a smallbore. I handled the gun about 7-8 years ago and its a good one. I had the virtual twin to it, a few hundred SNs apart. Not many to choose from, that for sure.

There was a Fox XE 12 with #4 barrels. I assume it was relatively light. Did anybody notice what that gun went for?

There also was CSMC Fox XE 20. What did that go for?

Thanks!

Thanks FoxInTheHenHouse!

I bid on a couple of the Daly Diamond Grades, the Lindner sixteen gauge and the Adamy twelve with the setter on the floor plate. No joy though.

I wish I had bid on the Fox XE12 that went for $4500 hammer price.
