Loaded up some roll crimped 16 gauge, 15/16 ounce #8's, Finn and I were out in between the raindrops, if you can get out in Southern Tier of NY or Northern PA woodcock are moving through. Added A picture of my grouse and woodcock crew Finn, Aggie and Jack in the truck making sure that they don't get left behind.

Wow, am I jealous! I went out last Sunday and never flushed a woodcock (in Michigan). I guess I had better get back out there and give it another try. Nice pictures, thanks for sharing them. Jeff

Chris, looks like you all had a great time in our northern PA woods. Thanks for taking the time to tells us about your hunt and to post pics. I see you still put your license in a holder (as I do) even though not required any more, as I understand it. frank

Fellows thanks for the comments

Frank...

Yes hard to break old habits regarding the license, I find it easier to keep track of it in the holder.

Felt better seeing some young grouse this year in the areas I hunt. Last year was adult singles mostly, I limited birds I shot last year as I will this year.
