Al, I really would like to see the video but it does work on my computer. Are you telling me that DU has allowed him to take "Bo Whoop" out duck hunting?

Jim,

I assume you can't view the video because you are still on dial up connection?

Thanks!! Nice video.

Dr. Wayne Capooth, the author of the book, The Golden Age of Waterfowling, produced a DVD in 2004, of some 1921 vintage movies that Field & Stream did of Nash out Goose, Quail and Duck hunting.

Alan, thanks for taking the time to post. As other have said, a great video. Those blue shells look like Kent TM's.

Hmmmm. That blind looks familiar. Mike Boyd is third from the left in the first picture.

Thanks Alan. Great short video.

There is an error in that short written piece with the video. This sentence: Though the gun was almost certainly used during all those unaccounted-for years (nearly 58 of them), this hunt is, to our knowledge, the first documented time that the gun has been back in a duck blind—

It was NOT used at all during those years, because the buttstock was broken clean through at the wrist when the owner bought it for $50, and was not restocked with the new buttstock until about 2 years before it "came out of the closet" and was auctioned. Jim Kelly shot it, to see if it really had a different sound coming through the swamp, after he restocked it, but other than that it was not shot at all. This was told to me by the man who sent it to Julia's to be auctioned, and by Jim Kelly.

So some fat cat walks in with a fist full of Dr. Franklins and runs to Beaver Dam with Bo Whoop. How about all the D.U. members that work their butts off for dinners and supply most of D.U.s money. This is B. S. , just one of the many reasons I left D. U. for Delta Waterfowl.
