Non Fox, Quick Question

Post by Jeff S »

I know this is strictly a Fox group, but I also know that many of the members have vast knowledge regarding other shot guns. Does anyone have any knowledge of French Shotguns made in St. Etienne? Mine says "Janisson Jeune" on the barrel. Some of the engraving is a little crude. I bought it from my great uncle in 1982 ($200). It's just a "wall hanger" at my cottage. If anyone is familiar with it, please share the knowledge. If not, no big deal. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Jeff

Thanks for the tip. I have never visited that site, but I'm registered and on it now. This might be like looking for a needle in a haystack, but you never know. There are some pretty smart people out there. Jeff
