DAVID MOSTELLER
I just saw a post on doublegunshop that our friend George David Mosteller is in Walter Reed with a collapsed lung and not doing well. For those of you who don't know him, David is a 1st. Sgt. in Special Forces out of Camp Lejune, North Carolina and an avid Fox Collector. I first met him when he enquired about an A Grade Fox that I had for sale. He was overseas at the time & so I sent the Fox to his girlfriend at the time in Virginia. I also sent him an extra copy that I had of Michael McIntosh's book on Fox to his A.P.O. In return, without asking, I received a huge box of goodies from his unit including a Gerber switchblade. David & I have seen each other at the Southern in N.C. each year since.
Please keep David in your prayers. He is "ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS" and a true Fox enthusiast..........George

Thanks to every one for the prayers and support! I'm currently hospitalized at Walter Reed, I had to have what was left of my right leg amputated due to more tumors also my right lung collapsed during all this. I'm doing fine the amputation went well, still waiting for the doctors to close my wound, my lung is much better now, just hope it stays that way. I will continue to fight this cancer all the way till the end!

Re: DAVID MOSTELLER
David, it's good to hear from you. I assume you saw my PM too.
Several of the Foxers first met David years ago when the VC was at Pintail Point, and he came by with a Fox SBT 2 barrel set and spent time with us. I learned then that he's one of the good guys. We saw him again a year or so later while at the Southern when he steered a walk in with a screamer AE 32-incher to the Fox booth before the owner hit most of the vendor row. David sure knew what it was and let another member score it. I saw and talked with him at the Southern again this spring and confirmed my earlier thoughts about his personal values. I know to many here David is just a name, and also know that some don't believe in an Almighty but I ask those who do to please keep David in your prayers to the Master.

Dave,
If you are coming back to Hogtown to recuperate and I can help in any way, you know how to reach me.

David: I'm so glad to hear that the lung's healed. Are you still at WR ? I've been off line for about two weeks. My desk top crashed & burned and just now got my lap top back from the shop. Again, please let me know when you feel like a visitor. Hang in there Buddy.

I talked with Dave Saturday (10/3) on the phone and yes he's still in Walter Reed . He sounded in pretty decent spirits considering .

I got a PM from David yesterday. They had to "jump start" him at WR but he said that he is feeling a little better. David is a FIGHTER & needs all of our prayers.
Best Regards, George
