Just updated the post. With a few new "maybes"' we are up to 23 people. If you're still looking for a place to stay, there is a Hampton Inn near Drake Landing (with a Drake Landing Special Rate), which will put you just as close to the Southern as a hotel in Sanford.

Ok, we're counting down the days! I spoke to Dan today and he's ok if you guys want to bring guns and either display them or put them out for sale. A few people inquired about this, and I think coming to shoot with us might get you a preview of some nice guns from about three to four different people before they go on sale Friday at the Southern. He just said to let him know how many tables we need when we arrive and they would be happy to accommodate.
As a reminder, Dan will have both lunch and dinner options available to us on Thursday, and the food is always outstanding, so please plan to stay for dinner if you're shooting with us in the afternoon. I believe Elizabeth and the Grits Girls will be there around 4:00, which is too late for shooting, but just in time for dinner. It sounds like a few people may have called to reserve carts as well, which shouldn't be necessary. On a typical Saturday they run over 400 shooters through the office and I've never been without a cart.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Yes, kudos to Mike for all this legwork. As for me, lunch and dinner afterwards sound like the perfect end to the day. Are we allowed to bring our own adult beverages for after shooting? Mike, what was the name of that barbque/microbrewery we went to last year--Airborne Express??

Ah, you mean Aviator Smokehouse (and brewery'), one of my favorite establishments.
And yes, you can bring your own adult beverages for when the shooting is done. I know I'll have a cooler on hand.
