FRBRIT: You made a valid point about George L using the forum to make a offer for the gun in question and I agreed that it violated our policy of not buying/selling guns on this open forum. (Member of AHFCA can buy and sell guns on the "closed" forum that is available to members only). Therefore, I deleted George L's post to drountr. Forum users have many alternative methods to contact each other regarding gun purchases.

HELP FOR A NEWBIE.
Fox Admin: Thank you for your explanation of why my post to "Newbie" disappeared. You were exactly right in doing so. I want you to know that I did not intentionally violate the forum's policy. He was seeking information on his inherited Fox and expressed a desire to sell it when he found out it's "Fair Market Value" and I offered to look at it for him as it seemed that I, perhaps, was the closest member to him. I will not make any offer to purchase or sell in the future on the forum.
I want to compliment you on your excellent site and your obvious efforts to keep it on topic and without controversary. I will try to post more often here now that I have learned the circuitious route that I must take (I am on AOL and the site does not let me on using that provider. I have found that if I go through Internet Explorer, however, that I can log on). Thank You again. Fox is my all-time favourite maker.
Best Regards, George Lander
