For Sale Adds

Post by FOXsan »

I was excited to see a dedicated site specifically for Ansley Fox fire arms and
quickly sent in my dues. However, I now wonder why we have a "rule"
that no gun sales are allowed when Double Gun Shop and many other
sites do have gun sales.

Are we being singled out by the Feds and the others are not or does
something in our charter make us different?

I ask this question based of a number of factors: why are we different and
is this difference beneficial?; or are we just ahead of the curve and are
other sites to be restricted in the future?

I have watched the number of hits we see in a day and I'm concerned that
often we don't have a single hit for several days. Why is this happening?

We are not different. Firearms sales are not allowed on either the Parker Gun Collectors Association or the L.C. Smith Collectors Association sites. Has to do with being incorporated as a non-profit.

Dave Weber's Doublegunshop.com is a business.

I was always curious about this "explanation". A non-profit is not prevented from having ads posted in its club organ and it is not prevented from having income for that matter. The PGCA "Parker Pages" has ads but the website prohibits them. There is no difference legally.
