Late season Mallards

Post by fox-admin »

Our late season opened today and 9 years out of 10 our marsh is frozen solid----50 degrees today on the 27th of December amazing.
Lucy my Lab was happy a bonus day normally we are siting by the fire with mountains of snow outside.
My 30" Super Fox got the job done today.

Very nice - that's probably why there aren't any ducks down here yet to speak of. They're all hung up in the north. Wish y'all would get some cold weather so they'd come on down for the last month of our season.

Hi Craig,

I was thinking with the nice weather we've been having you might have open water and some decent shooting. Might even hang on til Tuesday.

Lucy looks happy.

My new goal is to hunt all the classic waterfowl areas. Arkansas last year, NC this year, not sure about next year. Need to add Finger Lakes to the list. Thanks for sharing the photos
