Hi Mike, I see the scores from the Rochester tourney yesterday. Nice shooting! Did you shoot a Fox?
Yep, once again I couldn't make it up north - trip down to #1 son's place yesterday. Frank

Hi Silvers!
Yep, I shot "Anna Nicole"
She's a big girl, but very pretty....from the other side of the tracks, but lookin' good in her thousand dollar dress!
You gotta make it up here...2 more chances before the Deuce! We're kinda blessed this year to have 2 registered shoots a month thru Feb/March; one at RB and one at Franklinville each month.
In fact, so many shooting opportunities that I can't find the down time to send Anna's metal out for refinishing. I can continue the oil finishing and checkering without interfering with the shooting schedule, but I don't want her sittin in some shop for 2-3months waiting for a metal redo. I'm contemplating trying to find someone to give me an "appointment", a date when I can give her up for 3 weeks to at least get the barrels reblacked.

Mike, that was outstanding shooting with any gun, let alone an "old Fox", and I'm sure you made Ansley proud!
Just so the rest of our web members know, Mike finished in a two-way tie for second place with a score of 90 ex 100. If I counted correctly on the website there were 82 shooters who participated. This was a NSCA registered tournament and I'm happy to learn Mike shot one of his Foxes - one of very, very few double guns on the course I'm sure. Also sure he raised some eyebrows when he came in with Anna and his scorecard.
It's so nice to hear of someone competing with an old Fox against all manner of modern semi autos and over/unders and kicking butt!
I'm hoping to get up north for next month's shoot at R-B. Yeah, I know what you mean about having to wait in cue to get something like barrel bluing done. That's one reason why I try to do as much of my own work as possible. Congrats again Mike. Great shooting with that Fox! Frank
