Wow on Recoil Pad price $200 clams
Didn't think this was possible. Had the finger on the key to bid a C note and then I took it back off.

We're not in Kansas any more!
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck

When you got to have it you have too pay the piper. Who ever paid $201.00 for this must know just how hard they are to come by. A small size (6 slot) is even harder to find.

They would sell like hotcakes I'm thinking for us who have been wanting one for years. I picked up one about a year ago that was in real nice shape, but it had 3 holes drilled in the bottom.Researcher wrote:Hopefully this one will be used to make a mold for repros for the rest of us!!

However for the price I got it it will look real nice as long as one doesn't turn it around and stare at the bottom.

I was bidding also, needed for my little 20 gauge Sterlingworth, so now a Noshoc pad will do! The old Red Head needs to go!

Good decision Top. That 7 slot pad would not have been correct for you small frame Fox anyway. Sometimes the hunt can be as much fun although more exasperating than the find.

I have nine Fox doubles with Jostam Anti-Flinch pads. Two 12-gauges have seven-slot pads and two six-slot. Four smallbores have six-slot pads and my 16-gauge Fox-Sterlingworth Skeet & Upland Game Gun has a seven-slot pad.

As a word to the wise, if you find one make sure its pliable. I have bought two over the past year that were brick hard. I thought (mistakenly) that they could still be fit to a stock, but they weren't grindable and thus both ended up thrown away. I found a Hawkins heart pad in 1/2" size made for a rifle and have it on my Sterlingworth 16 ejector. It is the perfect sized pad for that gun. I think the size on the box was small and it barely fit, but it did fit and fit perfectly. Have never seen another way anywhere and I found it in the box at a local gunshow.
Here's sort of a picture of the pad.

Dave could you post a photo of your Skeet and Upland Special? Does it have the same stock dimensions as your other small frame Fox guns? When I was looking for my 6 slot Anti-Flinch I considered a 7 slot but it appeared that there would not be enough material remaining at the toe to be very durable.
