Fox 20 Gauge / Lever Position

Post by Doubleguns »

Hello members!

I am looking at a few Fox Sterlingworths 16's and 20's and have located a nice English stocked gun but the lever is slightly left of center.
Should i pass on this gun or is this a small problem that can be easliy rectified?

Any help would be much appreciated...

If it is an original straight gripped sterling worth then it is a skeet and upland model and in 20ga would be very desirable.

If it is only slightly left of center and the gun is on face there is no problem buy the gun and shoot it. If you want to move the top lever to the right for cosmetic effect any reputable gunsmith with Fox and micro welding experience can do the work.
