I knew Mr. Gibbons for many years. I never bought a gun from him but I did sell him a few. We also shared an old gunsmith. It would amuse me to see a nice high grade Fox described in "Gun List" with the famous "no screw ever turned" epithet having seen the exact same gun spread apart on our gunsmith's bench a few weeks earlier...Tom's descriptions often went far beyond puffery but his checks didn't bounce so may he rest in peace. :shock:

I believe the spirit of selling guns in the manner of EBS lives on at Vintage Firearms, Inc. You could search there for all of your fine Fox gun needs and find the text warmly familiar.
