6 DAYS and COUNTING to VINTAGE CUP!!!

Post by TOOL MAN »

Fox Fans,

Hope to see 'the usual suspects' and meet plenty of 'new blood' at the upcoming Vintage Cup, held on the beautiful grounds of Addieville East Farm, in Mapleville R.I. . As always the BOD's will have some interesting Fox 'iron' on display. This year we will be featuring a rack of "STELLAR STERLYS" (all 32" guns) including a minty Wildfowl that recently was crowned, " Miss Closet Queen 2013!!"

We fully realize it's a busy time with back-to-school activities and the start of hunting season BUT keep in mind, this is thee crowning event of the year, as well as the venue for our Annual Meeting, A.H. Fox Championship Shoot and Fox vs Parker
Challenge. You don't need to spend the weekend....come up for a day or part of a day ( Fri/Sat to compete). Trust me, if you are looking to add a Fox to your man cave, want to see some beautiful examples of Ansley's finest , meet up with other AHFCA members or just to gain some additional knowledge about this wonderful avocation of ours, then, as they say at Nike: "JUST DO IT!!"

As always, we invite members who would like to display that 'special' Fox ( doesn't have to be a minty high grade!!) to stop by the booth. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Travel safe. Lock & load. See you at "ADDIE."

With warmest regards from the mallard front,

Your 2013 AHFCA B.O.D.'s....aka, "The Philly Fab-5"
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

I'm holding my breath on the Vintage Cup and Fox enthusiast participation. Very few replies on all the related threads so far, and I'm hoping that's just because people aren't taking the time to say they're coming. Granted it's in RI and I know that's just too far for many of us. But we have a large number in the northeast quadrant and I strongly second Toolman's comments. If you can just make it to one show and shoot, this is the one to be at. Even if for one day. "Fox talk" at our tables and this year's 32-inch Sterlingworth display will be highlights for me. Silvers

I'm really trying to work out a way to get up there Saturday but I'm leaving Sunday for 10 days of hunting in New Hampshire. I'd love to get out and bust some clays.

The weather looks perfect throughout the 4 days. I am looking forward to shooting and just talking guns with a great group of people in the splendor of New England.
