Hi John/Loggy,

Nope, won't be getting into southern Idaho, Pocatello area. Getting back into WA late Sunday and then home.

Otherwise, be nice seeing you and Ben again and your nice CE you picked up in Vegas in January.

Hope to see you again in January tho at the Riviera gun show.

Opening day was last sun at noon. Went to the field till 6pm and didn't see a bird. Same luck Monday. Tuesday a groundhog was killed. I'll get back to the in laws property in a couple weeks.

My wife's grandad gave me an older Fulton 12ga double so that I wouldn't ever shoot my fox again. Apparently it's in better shape than I thought.

Glad y'all got some birds. Send some to tn.

Tomorrow is D day. I've counted down the days. Now, all that's left is ......... a wake-up!! This is like Christmas Day for a kid. The beginning of the best time of the year. Kinda like the "Glorious 12th" in Britain, eh? Corn picking has come to a halt. Preparations are made. The sunflower field is ready, groomed for the guests. There will be a low country boil for lunch. Then, about 3 p.m. it will begin. Report will follow, tomorrow evening.

Can you tell I'm excited? It never grows old. After 53 years, it's still new.

Extreme eastern Burke County, Will, almost halfway down the Savannah River from Augusta to Savannah.

I just posted an update on our dove shoot today on the DGJ BBS. Here's a link to it for any interested.

Dave: I just checked for the first time since opening day. We hunt in central ill. Over a three acre sun flower field located in the middle of standing corn. We had a great day downing 275 from 6:30 a.m. To about 9:45a.m. The shell companies love us. I'll send some pics when I get some help.
