stock finish

ok, yall know from my recent post about my 16 utica sterly i got. it is a 98-100% gun except for some finish rub where you put your cheek. it goes all the way thru to the wood. so.....do i leave it or fix it and if so how would i do it? thanks

On a 98% gun, I wouldn't even think about messing with it.
Recoil is most noticed when I miss

I'd put a good coat of wax on it and let er ride.
