Things get pretty intense during these shoots and I don't have time to post pics but I want to get out a quick update on the first day of our Fox Collectors' competions at the NE Side by Side. Weather was sunny and hot all day. Most of the competitors will shoot "practice" on Friday to get a better read on the targets, and get down to the serious business of score shooting tomorrow. Today we had 43 practice shooters, and 9 who went ahead for score = 52 total.
As of today..... Walt Snyder of Ithaca fame is high gun at our Bo-Whoop Long Range Championship with a score of 8 ex 10, using a fully optioned 12 gauge 5E Ithaca NID double trap gun. Mike Koneski has high score with a Fox with 6 ex 10 using a 12 gauge Sterlingworth.
Walt Snyder is current high gun at our W C Letterman Cup with 6 ex 10 using a high grade (7E ?) Ithaca SBT.

Big mistake letting the Ithacas in!!
Or at least letting Walt in. Good luck Fox shooters!
