DGJ Frank Srebro Article

Post by eightbore »

DGJ came yesterday and includes a great Super Fox article by "Silvers", Frank Srebro. You might also check out the article on Ithaca single trap guns by my neighbor and shooting and collecting buddy, Tom Breeden. Tom is a serious trap gun collector and doesn't need to go out of the house to write and photograph an article such as this. Bill Murphy

OK, so I received my author freebie DGJ copies, reviewed the article and am pleased with it.... just a very few word changes from my manuscript. I'd guess some of my former work lingo was a bit much for Joanna and Daniel. The Cotes' were easy to work with, and I like the layout they did. JFI, my manuscript was about 3700 words, way more than the DGJ target, and I expected it to be published in two issues. But after seeing the product I'm happy it was done in a single one. Thank you all for your feedback. I hope those who haven't seen it yet, do enjoy the read.

I also read Craig's excellent article in the Winter isssue on his LCS 10 gauge guns. It's neat that he has that local connection with LCS's and a great place to hear them speak at his duck club, also nearby the LCS scene. Frank

Frank, That was an excellent article. Can't think of a better place for it to have been published then the DGJ. I can only guess the hours spent doing the research. Hats off to you my friend. :)

Frank, Great article and photos. I really enjoyed the connection with the people and area where the gun resided. I feel the guns history after it was sold is at least as interesting and the history of the maker. Wonderful backgrounds in all the photos. John

Dave, it looks like you are three days from here by pony express. The DGJ is always a bit late in Idaho.
