Mark, are we looking at two different "Carriage Bolted" Parkers here?? The first series shows the floor plate and receiver screws "not indexed" and the floor plate front two set screws with slightly marred slots- No big problem. Is the second set of another Parker, and not the "Rich" gun? Great fotos, you are a master with the Nikon as well as with your CE and HE 12 bores--Keep up the good work!!
You are correct. The first two Parker pictures are of the Rich A. 20 gauge, a work in progress with engraving and screws to be finished. The rest of the Parker pictures are of another Parker, a finished work. Bill Murphy
I think the Fox looks great although I'm not much of a fan of the different types of gold applied on the birds. The Parker doesn't float my boat for some reason. Have a hard time putting it into words.

The one with the gold on the barrels. Just to much heavy engraving for my taste. I guess I just like English scroll more and I think the Parker frame lends itself to that style. Also for me I think a Fox can be customized by metal shaping etc and I think a Parker frame should look like a Parker frame. I do think it would be interesting to really customize a 20 gauge Trojan with different action shaping etc. I think you could really turn a small bore Trojan into something special if you had some imagination and a gifted metal shaper (i.e. Dan R.). \\\
Who ever thought you could turn a Fox 20 gauge SW into this with a bit of imagination and a gifted craftsmen:
It was indeed Bob Strosin that stocked the Fox and the last Parker in the OP of this thread, I'm not sure about the AyA nor the name of the Michigan stocker that is stocking the 1st Parker of Rich Anderson's in this thread.
