I googled the holder of the 2 1/2 shares, Mary Thomas Miller, MD, and according to the 1906 Boyd's Philadelphia Blue Book she resided at 313 33rd Street North, Philadelphia, PA.

One day I had an opportunity to look over a Fox car, thanks to its owner's kindness and time he gave to me. As a long time hot rodder, I'm fairly familiar with auto mechanics and am especially interested in drive trains. That Fox air-cooled aluminum engine impressed the heck out of me; it was way cool back in the 1920's and i would say so, to this day.

Most of us are only familiar with permanent glycol antifreeze as used in water-cooled auto engines for decades now. And some may not know that in the pre-glycol days, alcohol was mixed with the water coolant to keep it from freezing while sitting overnight etc in the winter. The alcohol tended to boil off and the owner had to constantly check with a hydrometer and add alcohol. Dad told me many times about his Father's newish Pontiac that suffered a frozen and cracked engine block while he was away at college and the car was put up on blocks for the winter.

Sorry for the tangent but I just had to comment how that Fox air-cooled engine would make life easy for its owner. Silvers

Yeah, 2 1/2 shares it is. Neat that you boys researched the address, I never got around to it.

The aircooled engine is fascinating....the Franklin car from Syracuse,NY was aircooled also...and was much more "successful" in numbers.
