So my next concern is aging this thing, i read a few posts that directed me to the bottom of the receiver where a letter and number will be in an oval, letter indicating year. what i have is an oval with "140" in it. i looked with a microscope, its a "140" confirmed. but this is on the exterior of the gun just above the underside engraveings. So on the top of the receivernormally covered by barrel, is a "C" in a circle, like a copyright marking, then next to it is an "O X".
So it looks like the encircled "C" than immedietly "0 X".
Across from this on the right side top of the receiver is the letter "S".
These are all the markings on the reciever.
Please advise.

Sorry, but I doubt there are many gents here to "advise" you on those specific stampings. You are posting on the A H Fox Collectors website but your Fox Model B, although soundly built and reliable, is not an A H Fox designed gun. Silvers

It's an "O" not a zero. It probably looks like "0" because the stamped letters are scrunched up width-wise.
"O" = 1963
