Sterlingworth Deluxe
My 16 ga. Sterlingworth was called a "Deluxe" by another Fox enthusiast. I have not seen that terminology used on other posts on Sterlingworths. It is an early Savage gun( with plastic grip cap) and did have 2 ivory beads, the middle one was broken off. Is this the right terminology? Was there a deluxe model? I used to shoot this gun alot on grouse and woodcock, but more often carry my A grade 16 because it is alot lighter. Are the proper ivory beads still available?

Re: Sterlingworth Deluxe
Thanks Fin2Feather for the link and info on the SW Deluxe. It certainly answers all my questions. I also have a 20ga SW, a late Savage model w/o grip cap that is a nice gun to carry in the grouse woods.
