The L.C. Smith-Parker Challenge

Post by eightbore »

Who among us will be attempting to qualify for team Smith or team Parker at the Southern Side by Side this weekend? I know by experience that there are Fox shooters who are up to the task. Who are you?

I will try to make the Parker team. I may try to make the LC Smith hammer gun team if I can find a gun I like.

I'll be there toting a Parker and a Smith. I don't shoot either maker all that often so it probably doesn't matter for score shooting. Silvers

Yep I know dear sweet Rose. Told me she'd be at the Southern. She wants to see what all the hoopla is about.

I think Oskar is referring to ditzy sweet Rose from St. Olaf who he seems to have known in his youth. She went on to be a TV star. Every time he picks up those svelte Husqvarnas he thinks of dose old dazes in St. Olaf. Next step for the Southern .... international shootoff with the "Finest Gun in Sveeedenn" shooting against the winner of the Elsie/Parker match? :P :P :P

Now there's an idea for a challenge match. The HOA Smith-Parker shooter against a Fox shooter in a 25 bird final. Of course, AHFCA would have to put up the trophy.
