Shot with my friend Rick today, I shot my Super (32" 9-4oz .744/.744, .045/.050) and he shot his DHE Parker, we missed our first two ducks then went 12 for 12!
The old guns did there job today. The duck hunting has been very good this year.
Great photos, Craig, and great shooting. One thing is really bothering me, tho', what the heck is that green post thing that the rope to the boat is going to? Is it some sort of a winch affair to pull the boats up out of the water to solid ground?
Great pics Craig, good to see the Super out doing what it was made for!! Sound as if you and Rick had a great day. I see Rick and now my cousin Bill share a fondness for the Parkers also. Now that you have broken the ice I wont feel bad posting pics of Bill and I grouse hunting over in Pa last week. Bill also is sporting a Parker in the pics. Paul
The Super Fox is a wonderful gun for waterfowl hunting, the pinnacle of duck guns. Pick one up and you might say why the hell do I need such a big gun but they work. Swing on a duck in cold weather dressed like the Michelin Man and they just feel right, you Super Fox shooters know what I mean. I can't explain why a 9lbs gun with 32" barrels feels so responsive in the duck blind but they do.
