I don't think its been published, but would it be OK for me to request the factory order card for TR's 12 gauge F (non ejector) grade Fox, serial number 13292 be shown to all forum readers?
I haven't used my free card lookup this year so that would cover the $$. Or I could pay for it via PayPAl.
Would request the card copy be displayed here so all Fox owners, would like to be Fox owners or just interested parties can see. After all, it is probably one of the most historically important firearms made here in the Good Ole USA.
It is believed that TR's F was not originally built for him from scratch at Fox in Philadelphia back around 1908/9. I guess Fox used an F grade that was already started but later finished up for TR.
Anyway, I think many of us would like to see what the factory card(s) has on it.
Thanks in advance to our board members for making this possible.
Jolly
PS: And I think posting it on a new thread would be helpful also. Thanks.

I'm with you, SCOTT ....only one place for an item of such historical significance.....presented to an American President, (one who actually owned a set of NADS) AND carried/used, on an epic journey, to the dark continent........next stop, I sincerely hope: Washington, DC ????
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

Capt' Fender & Self, have looked in all the places that might have a photo of the "F" Grade Fox & Pres."TR", that Ansley H'.Dropped off at "TR's Cottage, prior to him departing for his African Adventure"."Skuttle-Butt" has it that 3 of the"Really Serious" A.H.Fox collectors(Dealers) are prepaired to "Take all our Records and Fox Info onto the Funeral Pyre......What a shame for the Next Generation of" Foxist's dt

Julia's put up many additional pictures of the gun, WOW! I was surprised how plain the wood is for a FE, looks more like C grade wood to me.
