Hello, I am new to this forum and just picked up my first Fox shotgun today. I took it outside to test fire it, and the left barrel was firing only about 50% of the time.
I took it down, and cleaned it, and put a few drops of Kroil penetrating oil in the action and put it aside to sit overnight, I have had good luck using Kroil oil in the past an am a believer in it.
If this doesn't work, is a complete dissasembly next?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
By the way, the left barrel will fire every time if it is fired first.

I didn't receive any info from this site, but, this is a followup of my post. The Kroil Oil, after soaking overnight did the job. The shotgun is working just fine now.

Great. It's very hard to analyze a gunsmithing issue without the gun in hand. Sounds like you figured it out but a dis-assembly and cleaning many be in order.
