top tang screw

Post by jim neyman »

I recently disassembled my 16 gauge Sterlingworth and the top tang screw threads are not in very good condition. It appears that they are a 10-32 thread. Can anyone confirm or correct this.Thank you, Jim

Jim, yes the top (underlever) screw has a #10-32 thread but the thread tends to be a tiny bit oversize for a tight fit. Frank
