Folks,
I have a Utica made fox Sterlingworth that I wanted to get engraved. The engraver told me that it has to be anneled to remove hardness. I took it to a shop that oven to anneal metals. The shop engineer asked me in order to anneal this gun, he has to know what type of alloy it is?
Any help or lead where I can find what type of alloy it was made with. Thanks.

Save your self some grief, send it to Classic Guns, they will anneal it for 45.00. They also do bone casehardening, their phone# 708-367-1620, web site http://www.classicgunsinc.com/
