Presentation Walther Bolt/Semiauto Combo

Post by ROMAC »

I've had this for a while. Information is limited, but from what I could find out Walther had a presentation grade of The Model II made for dignitaries during the run up to WWII. For those that have never seen them, they can be operated as a bolt action or if you flip up the bolt, as a semi auto. Clip fed, this is a really unique gun.

Thanks, Roger. I have never heard of a rifle like that. What caliber is it? Have you used it for hunting?

It's a .22

I've never shot it. But, I have shot a similar but plain model. They are very cool guns.

WOW roger, how sweet. many years ago i came across a pair of HK 22 mags. one was full oak leaf engraved ,the other was what i think is referred to as funeral , every line outlined with thin gold inlay border. both new in box.wife was with me and had approved purchase.she loves 22 rifles and i think she would have claimed one. i passed them up and have regretted it ever sense. that is one beautiful 22.i have never ran across that model walther but am pleased for you. all the best and thanks for posting 44whiskey

Funny that this old thread piqued your interest.

Classic example of German over engineering.

I like the engraving so I bought it. I'm into the deep relief style.
