Here are some pics of a 12-gauge Syracuse Lefever E Grade with 30" Krupp barrels choked F & F. She's a fraction of an ounce under 8 pounds and has nice dimensions at 2-3/8 drop and 14-5/8 LOP over the HRBP. Factory 2-7/8" chambers and probably ordered for Live Birds. Made in about 1908 and with that cool clamshell style forend release. Not shown is the intercepting lock screw for the rear/top tang screw = similar to the main frame screw lock on many Fox XE's and higher Grades . I hadn't fired her in about 3 years and while she's choked pretty tight for sporting that 8 pound weight is fine for a round of 100 with 1-ouncers at 1170 speed. We had seven shooters in our gang today and she came in only two birds behind the top shooter with a Perazzi Competition MX 2000. A good day for a tight 110+ year old gal! :D

Beautiful gun, and yes, I do like the "clamshell" style forearm release. Very well done. (Nice shooting too).
