Rosey “Up North”

Post by Foxnut »

Rosey and I spent the later part of last week and part of the weekend grouse/woodcock hunting in the Northern Lower of Michigan. We were about and hour N. Of where Tom and Sophie were based. We were solo part of the time and then joined by my Son-In-Law and his Dad, Uncle and Brother-In-Law. Weather ranged from sunny and 45 to rain, sleet, snow and 28 degrees w/wind. Good news is we were getting into flighted Woodcock from the top of the lower Northern and UP starting their trek South. Really happy with Rosey’s progress on pointing, steadiness and retrieving. I’ll add a few pics of the habitat as well. Plan is to be back at it next week/weekend. Never get tired of it! I’ll apologizecin advance for the sideway pic. I always forget to turn my phone for correct orientation. Click on the pic and it will pop up correctly. Brett
