Sophie and roosters

Post by vaturkey »

First water retrieve today. She didn't even know she could swim until I shot a rooster and it hit a big pond and started swimming. She hit that water like a retriever and started dog paddling and then swimming. Would never enter water over her bottom until today. Shows you what prey drive a dog has. She didn't hesitate for a second. Rooster swam across the pond and she and the Rooster hit the bank at the same time about 60 yards away from me. Birds killed with my 20 gauge Fox Sterly upgraded to an AE Grade Fox
