Recent Fox Paper on ebay

Any thoughts on the recently sold Fox items on EBay?
Did one of our members buy it.
Too rich for me.

Wasn't me. Those early catalogs sure don't come up often.

First time in over thirty years of collecting Fox catalogs I've ever seen one of the black and white Finest Gun in the World catalogs for sale, so I had to bid hard. In the last few seconds someone almost beat the amount I'd bid. When you are over 70 1/2 you gotta spend that RMD money on something!! I think it may actually be of 1907 vintage. It has exactly the same pictures as in the "Signature" Campfire catalog which is equated to 1907 and does not have anything on the FOX PROOF oval mark which first appears in Campfire catalog No. 21 which is equated to 1908.

Still well below what we've seen Parker Bros. "Clown" catalogs sell for.
