Terc, how about describing your Fox in the picture?

I genuinely enjoy looking at hunting pictures. They're better than buying a Field & Stream. Congratulations on the successful hunt and thanks for posting the picture.

Re: Opening day of grouse season
Jim, I'll do a more detailed description with some photos after the season is over.
The gun is a CE 12 ga / 26" / .005 and mod / # 4 barrels / made in about 1932
I purchased the gun last year. It has been restocked, probably because the original drop was 3 1/2 ".
The new stock is 14 3/4 " with a 2" drop at heel.
The gun weighs 6lbs. 12 oz. and balances perfectly.
Thanks for asking, Dave

Terc, that's my dream gun. If you get tired of it, shave 3/4" off the stock and send me a PM. Jeff

Re: Opening day of grouse season
Very nice!!!
I wish several of the PA breeding pairs would relocate to east central Ohio.
Grouse have mostly disappeared here. From the late 1970s - mid 1990s hunting was good to very good
But now it is rare to hear or see one.
Thanks!
Jim
