MN grouse hunt

This is the first wild bird I shot with my new to me AE 12ga.

Nice bird and very nice Fox! Love the straight grip guns, is it 28"?

It looks like a great day, always fun using a new (to you) gun.

After chasing them for 2 days between rain storms, I know bringing a ruffed grouse to hand isn't as easy as it sounds.

Thanks. Yes it is a 28” and the straight grips do have a look to them that I really like.

Great hunt, Grouser. Minnesota Ruffed Grouse have a special meaning for me. I grew up in Minnesota hunting Ruffed Grouse with my dad. It was the 1st game bird I ever shot. Jim

Have been able to add wild quail, woodcock, pheasants and snowshoe hare and jackrabbits to the list with this gun

I wish but I think my waterfowling days are over. But these guys would love it.
