DGJ Autumn 2019

Post by Jeff S »

I just received the Fall issue of the DGJ and I was delighted to see that there are two articles written by members of Team Fox. Frank, I loved your article about mechanically restoring your Super Fox. Nice mixture of technical expertise and nostalgia, as well as a fitting tribute to your late friend Kaiser. Well done! Now, I'm off to read Steve's article. :)

Another great article Steve. Thanks for the education and the entertainment. Goucho must have been larger than life.

Apparently receiving the DGJ early is one of the few advantages of living in Michigan. :)

Surprisingly the DGJ made it to Idaho today. Maybe “Researcher” will get his on Monday! Thanks to Frank and Steve for a fine pair of articles.

Congratulations, Steve and Frank, for over the top articles. By the way, my issue arrived on October 22, a world's record for mid Maryland. More comments on these articles are on the PGCA forum.

Jim, are you confusing this with the Fox Newsletter? I should have been more descriptive. I was referring to their articles in The Double Gun Journal. Jeff

Mine arrived weeks ago but I have not yet cracked it open. In the process of reading Aldo Leupold's "Game Management". That's night time reading as is the DGJ for me. One thing at a time. :D Looking forward to Frank and Tool's articles.

Just started devouring the new DGJ this week. Both articles from Frank and Steve are outstanding!! Cool thing is having seen Frank's Super from before he bought it through it's current state. I must say Frank has given that Super a new lease on life. Well done my friend!!
